This item is a replacement for Nordyne #s 902661 & 902661A. There are three wiring adapters that come with this Ignitor making it Universal to basically any Furnace out there with a Spiral Ignitor (with the exception of Intertherm). Function: The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred. Replaces Old Part #s: 902661 902661A
